Charlotte Dudley M.Ed., Special Education Advocate

Working for the Success of Your Child

About Us

Charlotte Dudley graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She earned a Master's Degree in Special Education from Armstrong Atlantic State University specializing in Emotional and Behavioral Disorders. Charlotte is certified PK-12 as a Special Education Teacher, and has worked with students with special needs since 1994.   She is a graduate of the Institute for Special Education Advocacy(ISEA) at William & Mary Law School, has completed  Wrights Law Special Education Advocacy Training and is a member of the Council of Parents Attorney and Advocates (COPAA).  She attends yearly conferences for ongoing professional development and  in 2019  completed COPAA's  Advance Special Education Advocacy Conference Training.

Over the years, Charlotte has worked with a variety of special education eligibilities across the continuum of special education settings including inclusion, resource, self contained and life skills classrooms. Having served as a teacher and a Special Education Team Leader, Charlotte has advocated for her students both inside and outside of the classroom.

Not only does Charlotte have professional experience with students having special needs, she also understands what it is like to have a child with a special education eligibility. She has advocated for her own child within the public school system, giving her a unique perspective when she advocates for her clients.

As a professional advocate, we adhere to COPAAs Voluntary Code of Ethics for Special Education Advocates. Please read the information here to understand the commitment to work with parents in an ethical and appropriate manner.

Charlotte is committed and excited to be working with parents as they navigate the special education process and work towards the success of their child.
